Life points to 0 by attacking direct

ok there are several cards like this that are banned but it makes no sense to me..... for example one is victory dragon... my question is... why is it banned then if when you reduce your opponents life points to 0 you win anyway..... to me it makes no sense and i would appreciate it if someone could explain to me exactly how these cards work.

No what it means is, If you attack with it make ur opponent LP go to 0, you win the MATCH 2-0.

They are banned simply cause of tournaments and stuff being won with decks like victory hopless dragon or something

ah i thought it just meant the game.... so aka if i used it in the banned tourney and i won my game with it i auto win the 2/3 thing?

You win 3 - 0 not 2 - 0.

actually it wuld be 2-0 because since its 2/3 then u would only do 2 wins till u won making it 2-0

I know. I remember someone told me that you win 3 - 0 if you use a Match Winner monster.

i dont know if that the reason...i search ur question and i found a majority answer....

they say it was banned cause it was conflict with its card rulings...
